8th Annual Sting-a-thon Fundraiser - 15th September

Join us for the 8th Annual Sting-a-thon Fundraiser, a community event that combines fun and philanthropy for a great cause.

Date: September 15th Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Location: Primary Pool

This event promises an enjoyable evening for everyone. Here's what you can expect:

1. Celebrating the Beginning of the Year: This gathering serves as an opportunity for Stingrays, Rhinos, and the broader ISHCMC community to kick off the year with a sense of togetherness. It's a chance for us to unite in our efforts to raise funds for a cause that truly matters.

2. Raising Funds for Ho Tram Water Safety Program: Our primary goal is to raise funds for the Ho Tram Water Safety Program, a local charity dedicated to reducing and raising awareness of the high incidence of drowning in Vietnam.

3. Stingrays Program and Awards: As part of our fundraising efforts, we have exciting initiatives within the Stingrays program:

  • 30% of Total Funds Raised: A significant portion of the funds we raise will be directed towards the Stingrays program for team activities and awards. This investment will contribute to the growth and development of our swimmers.

  • Generous Donation by Coach Sami: Coach Sami has generously donated his TOTAL laps swam during Sting-a-thon. These laps will be evenly distributed among all Silver B team swimmers, highlighting his commitment to the team's success.

  • Mr. TJ's Contribution: Our dedicated PE teacher, Mr. TJ, will also be taking part in the swimathon. He'll be swimming on behalf of the Silver A team swimmers, showing his support for their efforts and dedication.

Who Can Participate: This event is open to all swimmers, regardless of skill level or age. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just starting, we welcome you to be a part of this meaningful event.
