Last Saturday, the International School of Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC) hosted a spectacular Gala at the Reverie Saigon, marking a significant milestone – our 30th anniversary. The event was a culmination of festivities that brought together students, parents, and faculty to celebrate three decades of educational excellence and community engagement.
Head of School Kim Green delivered a poignant speech, reflecting on the past, present, and future of ISHCMC, adding a thoughtful touch to the celebratory atmosphere. The gala featured a four-course dinner, live performances, and engaging activities, creating an elegant and lively setting for everyone in attendance.
One of the highlights of the evening was the charity raffle and auction, raising funds for Saigonchildren's Build a School program in the Mekong Delta. The generous contributions from the attendees seamlessly transformed the celebratory mood into a meaningful opportunity to support a worthy cause.
The festivities continued into the night with a DJ and dancing, making it a memorable and joyful occasion for all. A heartfelt thank you was extended to the sponsors whose vital support contributed to the success of the 30th Anniversary Gala, allowing ISHCMC to celebrate in style and make a positive impact on the community.
As both the Gala and the preceding school assembly become integral parts of ISHCMC's history, the sentiment echoes: "Happy Birthday, ISHCMC. Once a Rhino, Always a Rhino." This phrase encapsulates the enduring spirit and pride of the ISHCMC community as we reflect on three decades of ISHCMC thriving.
