On April 12, 2023, the Ministry of Health issued an announcement calling for the need for stronger COVID-19 prevention and control measures due to an increase in cases of COVID-19 outbreaks and other infectious diseases. The local authorities has advised that the following actions should be taken at this stage:
The Department of Health to monitor, coordinate, and ensure supplies for epidemic prevention and control.
The Department of Information and Communications to communicate prevention measures and encourage vaccination..
The Department of Education and Training to direct schools to organize preventative activities, coordinate for vaccination screening, report cases to health authorities, and educate students/parents on disease transmission and vaccination benefits.

What Does This Mean for You?
As a school we will continue to follow the local authorities’ guidelines. However, moving forward, depending on how the current situation evolves do note that increased measures may be put into action. We will inform you on any developments in the coming weeks
