Fostering a Culture of Engagement, Empowerment, & Energy: A Warm Welcome to Our Thriving Community

Dear Parents,

With great joy and anticipation, I extend my heartfelt welcome to each member of our dynamic thriving community. As we gather once again, I am excited to embark on this amazing journey of growth, discovery, and celebration together with all of you.

This year holds a special significance as we proudly commemorate our 30th anniversary—a remarkable milestone that fills our hearts with pride and gratitude. Over the past three decades, our school has flourished into a beacon of educational excellence, a nurturing haven where minds and hearts are Energized, Engaged and Empowered to Thrive.

Engagement lies at the core of our educational philosophy. We believe in creating an environment where every student actively participates in their learning journey. Through interactive classrooms, collaborative projects, and hands-on experiences, we encourage our students to ask questions, voice opinions, and explore the world with an unwavering curiosity. This sense of engagement is not limited to students alone; our educators are dedicated to creating meaningful connections with each student, fostering an atmosphere of empathy and understanding.

Empowerment is the key to unlocking the vast potential within every individual. Our commitment to empowerment stems from the belief that education should be a transformative force, equipping students with the tools they need to navigate an ever-evolving global landscape. We strive to nurture resilience and instill a growth mindset, empowering our students to overcome challenges and emerge stronger, ready to tackle the complexities of the 21st century.

Energized by a shared sense of purpose, our international education community is poised to achieve remarkable heights. We celebrate diversity in all forms, recognizing that our differences enrich our learning experiences and broaden our horizons. Together, we create a tapestry of cultures, perspectives, and backgrounds, fostering an environment where mutual respect and collaboration flourish. This energy propels us forward, driving us to reach new milestones and aspire to greatness.

Thriving is more than achieving academic excellence; it is about holistically nurturing our students' growth and holistic achievement.. We acknowledge that success extends beyond the confines of the classroom, encompassing personal development, character building, and emotional well-being. Our dedicated support staff is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment where each student can thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

At the heart of our educational approach lies curiosity, the spark that ignites the flame of lifelong learning. Curiosity fuels innovation, drives exploration, and leads to the unearthing of new ideas. We encourage our students to question the world around them, seek knowledge beyond the surface, and delve into their interests' uncharted territories. This insatiable curiosity is the cornerstone of critical thinking, enabling our students to become informed global citizens.

As we embark on this journey, remember that grades or accolades do not solely measure achievement. Actual achievement manifests the growth, resilience, and empathy our students develop throughout their time at our school. It is the confidence they gain, their friendships, and their impact on their community and beyond. In our 30th Year Thriving we are excited to celebrate 30 years of holistic achievements through a year long Festival of Achievement.

In closing, I extend my deepest gratitude to each member of our international education community for entrusting us with the privilege of shaping young minds and nurturing future leaders. Let us embrace the year ahead with open hearts and minds dedicated to fostering a culture of engagement, empowerment, and excellence. Together, we shall create an environment where curiosity knows no bounds, empathy flourishes, and resilience prevails, paving the way for our students to Thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

In Kindness,

Kim Green, Head of School
