Head of School Message - 27 November

Dear Parents,

Last week, we celebrated Vietnamese Teacher's Day. On this occasion, it is important for us to celebrate you, our parents, as you are our childrens’ first teacher. Thank you for the support, guidance, and wisdom you offer your children daily, which enables them to grow as lifelong learners with strong family values.

Thank you to all of our parents for sharing your love and gratitude with our team on Vietnamese Teacher's Day.  From flowers to cake, our teachers felt the appreciation from our ISHCMC community.  Thank you to our PTO for providing delicious snacks for the morning break at primary and secondary schools.

As we begin to prepare for the upcoming Winter break, we are committed to the continuous development of our facilities. As such, we are excited to share with you that the following projects will be completed over the break and ready for use when we return to school in January 2025.

  • Secondary School Outdoor Courts - Upgrade of Surface

  • Primary School Wellness Center - Renovation

  • Primary School Playground and Swimming Pool - Renovation

  • Primary School Gymnastics Space - Renovation

We look forward to seeing all of our families at our annual Festive Bazaar this coming Saturday 30th November, from 3.00 - 8.00pm.  We are excited to celebrate this upcoming winter holiday with each of you. Bring a prospective parent as a friend, and you and your friends will enjoy free raffle tickets and food on the day!

On the 01 December, it is ISHCMC’s 31st Birthday.  In celebration of our birthday, you can visit the ISHCMC Heritage Exhibition at the Festive Bazaar or on the Primary Campus from Monday 2 December - 3 December and the Secondary Campus from 4 December - Friday 6 December.  We are excited to celebrate our birthday and school identity at our annual Flag Parade will be on Tuesday, 3 December at 9.00am on the primary school campus and look forward to having you join us!

In kindness and service,

Kim Green, Head of School Read the full newsletter
