Dear Parents,
This week, ISHCMC Secondary has been alive with incredible artistic talent. From the outstanding IB DP Arts Exhibition to last night’s opening of Robin Hood, our students and staff have gifted us remarkable experiences. As I shared in my opening remarks at the DP Arts Exhibition, “The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls” (Pablo Picasso). This exhibition certainly does just that, and I encourage parents to visit the 3rd floor of the Secondary Campus before it closes on Thursday, 27 March.

Last night’s Robin Hood premiere was outstanding! I’ve seen firsthand the dedication of our students and staff, with rehearsals stretching late into the evenings—sometimes until the lights went out. If you haven’t seen it yet, there are still performances tonight and tomorrow. Tickets are available at the Secondary reception.

At the start of the week, we had two insightful professional development days, engaging in valuable discussions on curriculum and AI. With support from our curriculum leaders and Ted, our Director of Digital Learning, I look forward to seeing these ideas take shape in the coming months.

Today, I’m representing ISHCMC at the ASAC AGM and supporting our teams in Thailand. Go Rhinos! Wishing you all a restful weekend ahead.
Warm regards,
Marco Longmore
