It's time to get excited! Join ISHCMC for a clothes swap event on October 24, the International Day Against Climate Change. This is a great opportunity to declutter your closet, find new clothes to love, and help the environment at the same time.
The International Day Against Climate Change is an annual event in which the United Nations Organization promotes action against global warming and its effects. A big part of why we celebrate this day is to encourage individuals in our community to do their part to preserve our world. One big step is to start by choosing products that are reusable instead of disposables, or purchasing second-hand products.
Clothes swapping is a great way to reduce waste and give new life to clothes that you no longer wear. It's also a lot of fun! You'll be able to browse through a wide variety of clothes, all donated by other members of the ISHCMC community. And who knows? You might just find the perfect new outfit for your next party!
So come on out to the ISHCMC clothes swap event on October 24!
How does it work?
On Monday 23rd of October, bring your clothes to the drop-off point in the Primary Canteen area (at 8:30 am and at 2:30 pm).
In exchange, you will receive a number of tokens that you can use to swap for other items on the day of the swap, on October 24th at 8:30 am.
A few rules:
Guests must bring clean, gently worn clothes in good condition. This means no holes, stains, or rips.
This swap is only for women's clothes (no accessories, no shoes, no jewelry, no scarves, no socks, no kids clothes).
Guests can bring a maximum of 15 items.
Guests will receive one token for each item they bring.
