DECA, an internationally recognized organization preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management, hosts various educational conferences worldwide. These conferences serve as platforms to integrate classroom learning with real-world industry experiences. This year, ISHCMC is proud to have had the opportunity to host DECA Nationals, furthering our commitment to supporting student development in leadership and entrepreneurship.
We are more than excited to announce that the ISHCMC DECA Chapter 2024 has achieved a significant triumph as the overall champions at the inaugural Vietnam DECA Nationals. Competing against nine other chapters, our students demonstrated exceptional skill and secured the national champion trophy.
A standout achievement was attained by Team 3 members, students Yongchan and Natalia, whose exceptional performance earned them the prestigious DECA 2024 Team of the Year title. With the highest score among 55 competing teams, their dedication and talent shone brightly, bringing honor to the ISHCMC DECA Chapter.
Moreover, we are delighted to share that Tom Nguyen from Grade 11 has been selected as the National Director for the 2024-2025 term.
This remarkable victory underscores our unwavering dedication to excellence in nurturing business acumen and leadership qualities among our students.
