ISHCMC Primary Community Unites for Tet Food Drive, Making Big Difference at Thien Phuoc Orphanage

Our students, parents, and staff rallied together in a heartwarming display of generosity for the Tet Food Drive organized by the Student Representative Team (SRT). The initiative aimed to support the Thien Phuoc Orphanage by collecting essential food items, and the outcome surpassed all expectations.

Ms. Ashley and Mr. Cameron, who helped lead the initiative, supported the delivery of the donations to the orphanage. Their visit was met with gratitude from the volunteers, who expressed that the contributions would provide an astonishing 6-8 months' worth of meals for the 60 children under their care. This remarkable achievement underscores the impactful difference that collective action can make in the lives of those in need.

The outpouring of support was so substantial that an oversupply of donations was received, prompting the decision to extend the reach of kindness to another orphanage connected to our community. This surplus will undoubtedly bring comfort and nourishment to even more children, illustrating the ripple effect of compassion and generosity.

In supporting the Thien Phuoc Orphanage and beyond, our students have once again showcased their dedication to fostering a culture of empathy and solidarity, both within our community and beyond. With every donation and act of kindness, our students are indeed making a big difference at Thien Phuoc Orphanage and in the wider community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who got involved in this initiative. Your generosity and kindness have made a profound difference in the lives of these children. Thank you for your support and for embodying the spirit of community and empathy.
