This Tuesday the community gardening group continued building the herbal garden on the ground floor. The students used the cinder bricks to create raised beds and laid tiles and pebbles to pave the path. They also used recycled materials, the debrick from the 5th floor garden to indicate the side path.
Besides dividing the garden into sections, the students also transplanted some herbs from the rooftop garden, for example , rosemary, critic plants, Cuban oregano, aloe vera and more.
In the coming up gardening sections, we will continue working the path, building raised beds, lotus pond, worm towels and bug hotels.
Please join us on Tuesday after school to help create more outdoor green learning space and increase the biodiversity in our campus.
