It was wonderful to see our Primary Campus filled with all this Mid-Autumn last week to celebrate the Vietnamese traditional Moon Festival Celebrations.
Our students got the chance to have a try at playing some traditional games, hearing stories, watching and joining in with performances, making mooncakes and more.
Ms Hang, our Primary Vietnamese Curriculum Teacher, who did an incredible job putting the celebrations together shared on why the event is so important for our students "Through these activities, the students have opportunities to develop their appreciation and awareness and contribute to building a positive self-image. We believe that understanding of cultural diversity will allow the child to bloom, blossom and thrives, giving them the right platform where they will work towards becoming a responsible global citizen. This year, we not only work on the Vietnamese Moon Festival but also celebrate the festival in other Asian countries: Japan, China and Korea. Our focus is "a festival full of joy".
