On Tuesday evening, our Studio 5s celebrated the PYP Completion Ceremony. This event marks the end of their ISHCMC Primary journey but the beginning of their future as ISHCMC Secondary students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Studio 5 student speakers shared “We made many good memories at ISHCMC Primary. Studio 5 has been great, but it is already coming to an end. We are going to miss ISHCMC Primary. We know that we are Once a Rhino and will Always be a Rhino
Daniel Baker, Upper Primary PYP Coordinator remarked on how proud the teachers were of the Studio 5s sharing “This school year has been hard to forget. You all demonstrated patience and perseverance through this tough time.” He also shared that Studio 5 will be time where “You will remember the friendships you made and what you have accomplished.”
Kevin Mount, Grade 6 Level Leader spoke also at the event to welcome the Studio 5s. He shared “It's my pleasure to be here with you today and celebrate your achievements. As you enter the secondary school the focus is learning but don't forget education is much more than acquisition of knowledge.”
Closing the ceremony was our Head of School, Kim Green who shared on how wonderful it was to have everyone there during the evening and shared her gratitude to Ms. Lianne, Ms. Ishbel and Mr. Daniel and all the Studio 5 leadership team.
Providing some words of wisdom for the Studio 5s as they embark on their next adventure, Ms. Green shared “Be yourself and always give it a try.”
