We want to inform you of recent changes in COVID-19 regulations. A few weeks ago, the status of COVID-19 was downgraded to Group B infectious disease. In the past few days, the government has been reversing pandemic-era regulations.
We can officially confirm that the requirement to report a COVID-19 positive test result via the government link is no longer necessary.
To recap the current guidance:
If an individual tests positive for COVID-19, they should stay away from school or work for 5 days. There is no need for a retest to return after this period.
Individuals obtaining a negative test result before 5 days may return early.
Masking should be continued for a total of 10 days to reduce transmission.
Thank you for your cooperation in adhering to these updated guidelines. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to amy.goldstein@internationalsos.com
