Xuan Thuy Street Becomes A Designated Walking Street

In a noteworthy development, Xuan Thuy Street, adjacent to our Secondary Campus, has officially transformed into a lively walking street since last weekend. Commencing on January 19, 2024, and subsequently occurring every Friday and Saturday, a stretch of Xuan Thuy Street, specifically from Quoc Huong to Nguyen Van Huong, has become an animated walking street. This pedestrian-only zone is coming alive from 6:00 PM until 2:00 AM the following day, giving a new energy into the community experience in Thao Dien ward, Thu Duc city.

Adding to the excitement is the active involvement of our Secondary Campus in this evolving experience. For the inaugural month, a temporary stage is hosted on Xuan Thuy Street, adjacent to our Secondary Campus, while local authorities finalize a permanent stage location.

Changes to the flow of entering and exiting our Secondary Campus during these designated times are in effect. Details regarding these modifications are outlined below.

Friday Afternoon and Saturday Instructions for Parents:

From 4:30 PM, Xuan Thuy Street Gate (Gate C) will temporarily close for cars, facilitating preparations for the Night Walking Street event unfolding in front of Thao Dien market.

On both days, it's important to note that the entrance will remain accessible exclusively for staff and students on foot until 6:00 PM.

Night Walking Street Operations:

The Night Walking Street is poised to welcome visitors from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM every Friday and Saturday.

Student Pick-up Points During These Times:

Parents utilizing cars for student pick-up are advised to use the designated locations on Nguyen Cu Street (Gate A) and Nguyen Van Huong Street (Gate B), as illustrated in the map below.

Gate C on Xuan Thuy Street will continue to cater exclusively to staff and students on foot until 6:00 PM.

Rest assured, close collaboration with local authorities is underway to address any special arrangements or passes necessitated during these designated walking street hours.

Parents are encouraged to share any concerns or specific considerations regarding potential overlaps between school events and the walking street hours. The school values and appreciates the invaluable feedback from the community and is committed to ensuring an enjoyable experience for all.
